Migration Certificate
- The grant of Transfer Certificates and Migration Certificates shall be governed by the Regulations made by the Syndicate.
- Transfer Certificates and Migration Certificates shall be issued in such forms as may be decided upon by the Syndicate from time to time, after report from the Academic Council.
- An Application for a transfer Certificate must be endorsed by the Transfer guardian of the student concerned.
- A fee equivalent to one-month tuition fee shall be charged for the issue of transfer Certificates except at the end of the course. Applicants for such certificates except at the end of the course must state the reason for making their applications.
- Transfer Certificates shall not be granted between the end of the first term and the end of the session except for sufficient reasons to be approved by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Dean of the Faculty concerned in each case.
- Students taking Transfer Certificates during a session shall be required to pay tuition fees and seat rent up to the end of the month in which the applications are made in addition to all other dues payable for that session.
Those whose names have been struck off shall, in addition, payable dues payable for re-admission.
- (i)The name of a student shall be changed in the University records on of Name production of a duly-sworn affidavit setting forth the reasons for which the change is applied for, and should be accompanied by a fee of Tk. 300.00, The application must be submitted through the Head of the Institution (College or Hall) in which the applicant has been a student or in which he prosecuted his studies last.
- (ii) A female student applying for a change of her surname necessitated by marriage has not to complete the formalities as under (i) above, in which case it is enough if the application is countersigned by her husband and forwarded by the Head of the Institution in which she is reading or read last.
- The proposed change should be published in at least one newspaper of the locality where his/her parents have residence, which should be submitted along with the application.
The name of a student may be corrected in the University records in of Name accordance with the certificate or diploma of the examination which he passed for qualifying himself for admission to this University on production of the certificate or diploma in original and on payment of a fee of Tk. 100.00.
Discrepancies of Name
Where there are discrepancies in the name of a student as recorded in in Name his/her Matriculation/S.S.C, Intermediate and/or degree, diploma the name may be corrected in the University records by the Registrar in accordance with that given in the Matriculation/S.S.C. Certificate on submission of an application stating the circumstances under which the variation or variations in name occurred, supported by a duly sworn affidavit and on payment of a fee of Tk.100.00. No such application will be considered unless it is forwarded and recommended by the Provost/Warden of his Hall/Hostel or the Principal of the College, of which he/she is a student on the date of application.
