Nazmul Karim Study Centre

The Nazmul Karim Study Centre was established on May 2000 to conduct advanced research, mainly in the fields of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Psychology. The Centre has been named after the late Professor A.K. Nazmul Karim, who is considered to be the founder of Sociology as a science in this part of the sub-continent. The Centre plans to promote research activities, both at theoretical and field levels, through regularly organizing conferences, seminars, workshops and publication of journals, monographs, research reports, and seminar and workshop papers.
