Dr. Tazrina Farah is an esteemed academic and finance professional currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, since March 2023. She has also been involved in student counselling and guiding since July 2023. Dr. Farah plays a pivotal role at Progressive Life Insurance Company Limited as an Independent Director and Chairperson of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee since August 2023, contributing to governance, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

Dr. Farah holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle, Australia, where she served as a sessional academic staff member from January 2019 to December 2023. Her research focuses on the interplay between corporate social responsibility and firm performance, as well as corporate governance's impact on operational efficiency.
