A Professor of Microbiology, Muhammad Manjurul Karim earned his PhD in Biomolecular Sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, UK (2001), did a post-doc at McGill University, Canada (2002-04), and was trained at the University of Dundee, UK, and ICGEB, New Delhi, India.
