Department of Microbiology
Israt Dilruba Mishu, lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at Dhaka University, has received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the same institution at 2017 and 2018, respectively. Mrs. Mishu started her teaching career by joining as a lecturer at the Microbiology department of Primeasia University. She served as a batch advisor of that department and also supervised multiple research projects as the project leader. Mrs. Mishu has been honored with multiple awards (Dean’s Award, National Science and Technology Fellowship, Shamsun Nahar Mahmud Foundation Gold Medal, Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray Science Speaker Award, multiple mementos for good academic results etc.) and scholarships (Fatema Iqbal Trust Fund Scholarship, Dhaka board scholarship, Junior scholarship etc.) for her outstanding academic performances. Her future research interest includes learning the marvels of the microbial world of human body, microbe’s relation to diseases and the way to help improving human health, designing and development of novel therapeutic and diagnostic approaches.Show less
