| Translational Medicine and Vaccine Development | My research centers on vaccine development, translational medicine, and disease genetics. A major focus of my work is immunoinformatics-driven design of multi-epitope vaccines against viral pathogens, including dengue and monkeypox viruses, combining computational approaches with wet-lab techniques such as recombinant protein expression, purification, and immunological validation to develop cost-effective, pan-serotype vaccine candidates. I am also engaged in antiviral drug discovery, including the identification of natural compound inhibitors against emerging viruses such as Nipah virus, and in genetic association studies examining the role of genetic variants in disease susceptibility, including breast cancer and lung cancer in the Bangladeshi population. Together, these interests reflect my broader aim of bridging computational and experimental approaches to advance translational research in infectious disease and human genetics. |
