Seminar on Gender and Feminist Movements in Bangladesh: The Changing Political Field | Sufia Kamal Lecture Series
The Department of Women and Gender Studies, University of Dhaka, organized a seminar titled “Gender and Feminist Movements in Bangladesh: The Changing Political Field” under the Sufia Kamal Lecture Series. The seminar was held on Thursday, 22 January 2026, at 12 p.m. in Room 5030 of the department.
Dr. Seuty Sabur, Associate Professor, Anthropology Program, Department of Economics & Social Science, BRAC University, delivered the keynote presentation. The seminar was attended by Dr. Sabiha Yeasmin Rosy, Chairperson of the Department of Women and Gender Studies, along with faculty members and students of the department.
