Starting its journey on November 3, 2008 under the founder Chairman, Professor Khondkar Siddique-e Rabbani, this department aims high to make itself one of the centerpieces in the area of Biomedical Physics, Engineering and Technology. This post graduate multidisciplinary department emphasizes research and development aimed at delivering the benefits of modern healthcare technologies to the deprived people globally, particularly in Bangladesh. Aiming for relevant and target oriented research, this department initially started with PhD and MPhil programmes.
