ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিভাগে ২৭ নভেম্বর ২০২৫ তারিখ বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল ১০.৩০ মিনিটে বিভাগের পিএইচডি গবেষক বেগম শারমিনুর নাহার--এর পিএইচ.ডি. সংক্রান্ত প্রথম উন্মুক্ত সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। সেমিনারের বিষয় ছিল “আখতারুজ্জামান ইলিয়াসের কথাসাহিত্যের ভাষা ও শৈলীবিচার : গবেষণা  প্রস্তাবনার যৌক্তিকতা । সেমিনারে আলোচক হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন অধ্যাপক ড. হাকিম আরিফ । সেমিনারে গবেষণা তত্ত্বাবধায়ক অধ্যাপক অধ্যাপক ড. সিকদার মনোয়ার মুর্শেদ, বিভাগের শিক্ষকবৃন্দসহ অন্যান্য বিভাগের শিক্ষক ও গবেষকগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন । সেমিনারে অ্যাকাডেমিক আলোচনা ও প্রশ্নোত্তর পর্বে সবাই সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করেন। (The Department of Linguistics held the first open seminar related to the PhD research of Begum Sharminur Nahar, a doctoral researcher of the department, on Thursday, 27 November 2025, at 10:30 a.m. The topic of the seminar was “Language and Stylistic Analysis of Akhtaruzzaman Elias’s Fiction: Rationale of the Research Proposal.” Professor Dr Hakim Arif attended the seminar as the discussant. Professor Dr Sikdar Monoare Murshed, the research supervisor, along with faculty members of the department and researcher were present at the seminar. All participants actively took part in the academic discussion and question–answer session.)
