ইতিহাস বিভাগের ওরিয়েন্টেশন ক্লাস অনুষ্ঠিত

অদ্য ২ জুলাই ২০২৫ তারিখে ইতিহাস বিভাগের ১৯তম সেমিস্টার ব্যাচ (২০২৪-২৫ শিক্ষাবর্ষ) এর আন্ডারগ্র্যাজুয়েট প্রোগ্রামের ওরিয়েন্টেশন ক্লাস সিরাজুল ইসলাম লেকচার হলে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে বিভাগীয় ছাত্র উপদেষ্টা ড. শহিদুল হাসানের সঞ্চালনায় নবাগত শিক্ষার্থীদের উদ্দেশ্যে দিকনির্দেশনামূলক বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন অধ্যাপক আশা ইসলাম নাঈম, অধ্যাপক নুরুল হুদা আবুল মনসুর এবং অধ্যাপক সৈয়দ আনোয়ার হোসেন। বক্তারা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়জীবন, ভবিষ্যৎ ক্যারিয়ার পরিকল্পনা ও বিভাগের একাডেমিক কার্যক্রম সম্পর্কে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পরামর্শ দেন।

অনুষ্ঠানে বিভাগের শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম, ক্লাবসমূহ, শিক্ষাসফর ও আইটি ল্যাব ইত্যাদি বিষয় নিয়ে একটি পাওয়ার পয়েন্ট প্রেজেন্টেশন প্রদর্শন করা হয়। সভাপতির বক্তব্যে অধ্যাপক আশফাক হোসেন বিভাগে কর্মরত শিক্ষকদের পরিচিতি উপস্থাপন করেন। নবাগত শিক্ষার্থীদের ফুল দিয়ে বরণ করে নেওয়া হয় এবং অনুষ্ঠানের শেষে উপস্থিত সবাইকে রিফ্রেশমেন্ট প্রদান করা হয়।

Orientation Class Held for 19th Semester Undergraduate Batch

The Orientation class for the 19th Semester Undergraduate Batch (Academic Year 2024–2025) of the Department of History was held on 2 July 2025 at the Sirajul Islam Lecture Hall. The program was conducted by the Department’s Student Advisor, Dr. Shahidul Hasan. Esteemed faculty members—Professor Asha Islam Naeem, Professor Nurul Huda Abul Monsur, and Professor Syed Anwar Husain delivered insightful speeches to the newly admitted students, offering guidance on academic life, career planning, and various aspects of university education. The whole program was presided by Professor Ashfaque Hossain, Chairman, Department of History, University of Dhaka.

A Powerpoint presentation was shown highlighting the department's activities, academic clubs, study tours, and IT lab facilities. In his remarks, Professor Ashfaque Hossain introduced the faculty members through another Powerpoint presentation.
The new students were warmly welcomed with flowers and the program concluded with refreshments for all attendees.
