The Research4Life Virtual Courses for Supporting Research are already helping researchers, librarians, educators and students strengthen their research skills through flexible, self-paced online learning. Since their launch, learners from R4L eligible countries have begun exploring these interactive courses, designed to support every stage of the research process from accessing scientific literature to writing and publishing research.

To help users maximise the value of these learning resources, Research4Life is hosting an interactive webinar that will provide a guided tour of the courses and demonstrate how they can be used to support individual learning, institutional training and research capacity development.

During the webinar, participants will:

• Learn why these five topics were selected to provide a balanced approach to accessing, using and communicating research.

• Experience a live demonstration of the courses and their interactive features.

• Explore the Moodle learning platform, including course navigation, learning activities and quizzes.

• Gain insights into the instructional design process, including how artificial intelligence was used to support course development.

• Discover practical ways to integrate the courses into self-paced learning programmes, workshops and institutional training initiatives.

• Participate in a live question-and-answer session with the course developers. Register  

Whether you are new to the courses or have already completed one or more modules, this webinar offers an opportunity to learn about the educational approach behind the courses, discover features you may not have explored, and exchange ideas on how they can support research capacity development within your institution.
