The Department of Marketing at the University of Dhaka officially hits a historic milestone—celebrating 52 years of excellence since its founding on July 1, 1974.
Starting its journey as one of the pioneer departments under the Faculty of Commerce (now the Faculty of Business Studies), it began with just 3 faculty members and 49 students. Today, it stands as a powerhouse of business and marketing education in Bangladesh, nurturing over 1,500 students across undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs (BBA, MBA, EMBA, MPM, M.Phil, and Ph.D.) with a distinguished faculty roster.
