How to Publish Q1 Journal Articles
On 1st September 2025, Dr. Shafi Md Mostofa conducted a masterclass titled How to Publish Q1 Journal Articles, attended by over 30 faculty members from Dhaka University as well as MPhil and PhD researchers and students from various disciplines. The session was formally inaugurated by Professor Dr. Abu Sayem, Chairman of the Department of World Religions and Culture, who warmly welcomed the participants and expressed gratitude to Dr. Mostofa for initiating such a timely and impactful academic event. Drawing on his extensive publishing and editorial experience, Dr. Mostofa offered a practical, step-by-step guide to writing high-impact journal articles, covering essential components such as the abstract, introduction, theoretical framework, findings, discussion, and conclusion. Using real examples, he demonstrated how to craft each section with clarity and scholarly rigor, while also sharing insider insights into journal policies, editorial expectations, and strategies for navigating peer review. The session was highly interactive, with several faculty members personally thanking Dr. Mostofa for conducting such a valuable and inspiring workshop that empowered participants to pursue publication in top-tier journals with renewed confidence.
