We are honored to present a distinguished panel of leaders to guide your journey:
Md Biplob Tarafder (Senior Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, People's Republic of Bangladesh). He is a distinguished career diplomat and aumni of Department of Finance. He is currently serving as Senior Assistant Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' North America Wing. He holds BBA and MBA degrees and initiated his professional path in private banking and as an Assistant Director at Bangladesh Bank. Joining the BCS (Foreign Affairs) in 2017, he has worked in various capacities, including a key role at the D-8 Secretariat. There, he was pivotal in operationalizing trade agreements and strategizing facilitation. He is deeply committed to leveraging diplomacy for sustainable, inclusive development.
Mahmudul Hasan Rubel (Vice President, Global Trade Solutions, HSBC Bangladesh). An esteemed alumnus of the Department of Finance at the University of Dhaka, he launched his professional journey as a Management Trainee at a leading local bank. With a distinguished career spanning nearly 14 years in the banking industry, Mr. Rubel has developed deep expertise in Structured Trade Finance. He also serves as a guest lecturer at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), where he shares his extensive knowledge on structured trade finance with aspiring banking professionals.
Mohd. Anisul Islam (Assistant Professor, Department of Finance, University of Dhaka). He has been working as a Finance academic for 1 decade. He received MSc Finance from University of Warwick and obtained Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute. In his teaching, Mr. Islam emphasizes the importance of personal discipline, ethical behavior, and conceptual clarity in mastering the globally challenging field of finance.
