ADB delegation meets DU VC

A four-member delegation led by Seok Yong Yoon, Principal Public Management Specialist of Asian Development Bank (ADB) called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman on January 31, 2018 at the latter’s office of the university. The delegation included Ryotaro Hayashi, Social Sector Specialist of ADB and Dr. Kyoung Y. Bae, Professor of the College of Computer Software and Media Technology of Sangmyung University, South Korea.        

Dr. Muhammad Asif Hossain Khan, Director, ICT Cell of DU, Prof. Dr. Kazi Muhaymin-Us-Sakib of the Institute of Information Technology of DU and some other faculty members were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking different development projects at Dhaka University with the technical support from KOICA.  ADB delegates expressed their willingness to provide financial support for infrastructural development at Dhaka University.  DU Vice-Chancellor thanked the ADB delegation for their keen interest in providing financial assistance for overall development of Dhaka University.
