The closing ceremony of the 5th International Conference on Business and Economics was held on September 26, 2021 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city. Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni, MP attended it as chief guest while Prime Minister’s Advisor Salman F. Rahman, MP was the guest of honor.

Dhaka University (DU) Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Dr. A.S.M Maksud Kamal, Treasurer Prof. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed and MD & CEO of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. Golam Morshed were present as special guests. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Moyeen, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies of DU chaired the event. Prof. Dr. M. Sadiqul Islam of the Department of Finance and Co-chair of the conference gave vote of thanks.

Thirty-two research papers and business cases were presented in the two-day long conference by local and international researchers in nine sessions. The conference was attended by local and international researchers from Australia, India and Japan.
