A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Dhaka (DU) and Texas A&M University, USA was signed today April 12, 2022 at DU VC’s lounge to undertake mutual collaborative academic and research programs between these two universities. Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman was present on this occasion.

Treasurer of DU Prof. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed and President of Texas A&M University Dr. Mark Rudin signed the MoU on behalf of their respective university. Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies of DU Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Moyeen, Dean of the College of Business of Texas A&M University Prof. Dr. Mario Hayak and some other faculty members of DU were present on this occasion.

According to the MoU, the two universities will conduct joint academic and research activities on various issues including business, trade, entrepreneurship and tourism. They will exchange faculties and students as well as share educational and research materials, publications and academic information. Besides, the two universities will jointly arrange seminars, conferences, workshops and training programs.
