In order to promote academic and research activities, a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia, Center for Genocide Studies of Dhaka University and Taylor’s University, Malaysia was signed virtually today, April 11, 2022. Treasurer of DU Prof. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Malaysia Md. Golam Sarwar and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Taylor’s University, Malaysia Prof. Dr. Neethiahnanthan Ari Ragavan signed the MoU on behalf of their respective side.

Director of the Center for Genocide Studies of DU Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed and Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Malaysia Mohammad Khorshed A. Khastagir were, among others, virtually connected on this occasion.

            According to the MoU Dhaka University, Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia and Taylor’s University will jointly work to enhance academic and research programs. Besides, short or longer duration course, study or exchange programs involving academicians, experts, practitioners, retired diplomats, civil servants and scholars from Bangladesh and Malaysia will be conducted. The parties will also jointly arrange seminars, conferences, workshops and training programs on various issues.
