Research Facilities:
• PhD Graduate Research Laboratory: The department has a PhD Graduate Research Laboratory with a seating capacity for 30–40 researchers.

Dedicated Research Laboratories:
• The Green Networking Research (GNR) Group was founded in April 2011. This group conducts high-quality research in areas such as energy-aware computing, green communications and networking, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, 5G Services, and emerging wireless network protocols.
• The Cognitive Agents and Interaction Lab is available for research and academic purposes.
• The CAIL and the DND Research Lab maintain specialized High-Performance Computing (HPC) resources to support AI/ML research.
• CSEDU Data Center: The powerful devices within the Data Center are utilized for research purposes. This facility, particularly the High-Performance Computing (HPC) resources, is accessible to students for their research work. Over the past three years, these HPC facilities have assisted over 100 students in their critical work, including AI/ML research.
• Software Lab: The department is equipped with four Software Labs and two Hardware Labs to support research and academic activities. Additionally, one of the Software Lab in the department is open for students until 8:00 PM for research and academic convenience.

For Students of the Department of Nuclear Engineering

Research Area:

The faculties and students in undergraduate and graduate studies conduct research activities in various nuclear engineering fields. The major research area covers Neutronics, Thermal-Hydraulics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Fuel Cycle and Waste Management, Radiation Damage to Materials, Plasma Physics and Fusion Technology, Nuclear Security and Safeguards, Radiological Science and Engineering, Nuclear Medicine.

Research Facilities:
The department is enriched with well-equipped laboratories which cover practical aspects of physics, electrical and electronic engineering, heat transfer & fluid mechanics, thermal-hydraulics and reactor safety, radiation science & health physics, nuclear instrumentation & measurements, and computer programming & simulation.

For Students of the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering

Research Facilities:
• Seminar Library: A well-equipped library with textbooks, journals, and research materials supporting academic and research activities.
• Robotics Lab: Core facility for designing, building, and testing mobile and autonomous robotic systems.
• Mechatronics Lab: Focuses on integrating mechanical, electrical, and computer systems for intelligent automation.
• Computer Lab: Equipped with modern computers and software tools to support programming and software-oriented courses.
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering Lab: Provides hands-on experience in circuit design, signal processing, and control systems.
• Senior Research Lab: Houses high-performance computers and research instruments for advanced undergraduate and postgraduate research in robotics, AI, and automation.
• Hardware Research Lab: Supports prototyping, fabrication, and testing of embedded and hardware systems for robotics applications.
• Mechatronics and AI in Medicine Lab: This research lab focuses on integrating innovative mechatronics design with AI-driven algorithms to develop scalable healthcare solutions.
