On April 29, 2025, the Confucius Institute at Dhaka University held an opening ceremony for its new Chinese language course at Dhaka University Laboratory School and College. Attendees included Dr. Yang Hui, the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute; the school’s principal, Mr. Md. Jamil Uddin; representatives from the institute and the school; as well as selected students and parents.

Dr.Yang Hui highlighted the importance of learning Chinese and encouraged students to seize the opportunity to enhance their language skills. A student representative from the Confucius Institute’s Udayan School teaching site shared their experience of learning Chinese. The event also featured a Chinese song performance by the institute’s "Shanhai Chinese Chorus" and a guzheng  performance by a Confucius Institute teacher, creating a lively atmosphere.

The launch of this Chinese course aims to further promote linguistic and cultural exchanges between China and Bangladesh, helping local students broaden their global perspectives.

实验中学是达卡大学孔子学院继乌东学校之后，又一个面向孟加拉国中小学开设的中文教学点。此次中文课程的开设，将进一步促进中文在孟加拉国基础教育阶段的推广，助力当地学生拓展国际视野。
