Rules for admission in Ph.D.
The rules of University of Dhaka are applicable for admission into Ph.D. program. However, the following specific points need to be mentioned here.
Ph.D.
Candidates for admission into the Ph.D. degree program must possess M. Phil. degree in Health Economics from Institute of Health Economics of the University of Dhaka / M. Phil. in Economics from the University of Dhaka or from any other recognized University. The candidates who have not obtained M. Phil. in Health Economics/Economics but have good research and/or teaching experience may be considered for direct enrollment into the Ph.D. Program of the IHE. The admission on Ph.D. is open for all the year round.
Important Notes:
1.The Academic Board, on the recommendations of the Academic Committee of the Institute, may relax the qualifications.
2.The Rules contained here are subject to change. Students will be required to comply with the changes in the rules as applicable to them.
