Dhaka University Holds Handover Ceremony for Equipment Donated by China达卡孔院中方院长受邀参加达卡大学举办的中方捐赠设备分发仪式
On June 22, 2025, Dr.Yang Hui, the Chinese Director of DU Confucius Institute, attended a ceremony marking the distribution of equipments donated by the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh. The donation included computers, printers, televisions and washing machines to enhance the university’s teaching and living facilities.
Prof. Dr.Niaz Ahmed Khan, the Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University attended the event and delivered a speech. He reviewed recent collaborations between the university and Chinese institutions, highly commending China’s support for Dhaka University’s development. He expressed hope for further cooperation to strengthen China-Bangladesh people-to-people exchanges and bilateral friendship.
The ceremony was also attended by university representatives, including the female hall provosts and the provost of the international hall.
2025年6月22日，达卡大学中方院长杨惠受邀参加由中国驻孟加拉国大使馆向达卡大学捐赠办公及生活设备的分发仪式。此次捐赠包括电脑、打印机、电视、洗衣机等物资，旨在改善学校的教学与生活条件。
达卡大学校长出席仪式并致辞。他表示，近年来，中国驻孟使馆、孔子学院及相关机构与达卡大学开展了多领域、深层次的务实合作，为达卡大学的发展提供了宝贵支持。此次捐赠再次体现了中方对孟加拉国教育事业的真挚情谊。校长强调，期待双方未来在人才培养、学术交流、科研创新等领域拓展合作空间，共同谱写中孟人文交流的新篇章。
仪式还邀请了达卡大学女生宿舍主管及国际公寓负责人等校方代表共同参与。
