Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka Participated the Opening Ceremony of China-Bangladesh Cultural Exchange Month达卡孔院参加中孟文化交流月活动开幕式
On June 22, 2025, the “Millennia of Cultural Affinity” China-Bangladesh Cultural Exchange Month, hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh, officially commenced at BRAC University. The CIDU was invited to participate the opening ceremony. Distinguished guests, including Dr. Sue Vize, Head of Office and UNESCO Representative to Bangladesh, Md. Wares Hossain, Acting Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Mr. Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, Prof. Syed Ferhat Anwar, Vice Chancellor of BRAC University and Mr. Han Zhiqiang, China's Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor, attended the event and delivered remarks.
During the first event of the Cultural Exchange Month—“China Intangible Cultural Heritage Week”—Ms. Cui Xiaojing, a teacher from the CIDU, gave a Guzheng solo performance of Butterfly Lovers. Her delicate and expressive playing vividly conveyed the charm of traditional Chinese music and added a rich cultural atmosphere to the occasion.
2025年6月22日，中国驻孟加拉国大使馆主办的“千年文缘”中孟文化交流月在布拉克大学拉开序幕，达卡孔院受邀参加开幕式。联合国教科文组织驻孟代表兼办事处主任苏·维泽、孟国家艺术院代理院长沃尔斯·侯赛因、中国驻孟加拉国大使馆文化处参赞李少鹏、布拉克大学副校长赛义德·法尔、中国非遗传承人韩志强等嘉宾出席活动并致辞。
在文化交流月首场活动——“中国非遗周”活动中，孔院教师崔筱菁献上古筝独奏《梁祝》，以细腻婉转的琴声展现中国传统音乐魅力，为活动增添浓厚的中华文化氛围。
