为增进孟加拉国青年学生对中国高等教育体系的了解,拓宽赴华留学渠道,2025年12月29日下午,以“中国高等教育与中国政府奖学金”为主题的专题宣讲会在达卡大学顺利召开。本次活动由中国驻孟加拉国大使馆、达卡大学孔子学院及达卡大学中央学生会联合主办。中国驻孟加拉国大使馆文化处李少鹏参赞、达卡大学孔子学院中方院长杨惠、达卡大学中央学生会主席萨迪克·卡耶以及达卡大学学生近300人参加了此次活动。

宣讲会在庄严的中孟两国国歌声中拉开序幕。达卡大学中央学生会国际事务秘书贾斯穆丁·汗致开幕辞,强调了教育交流对深化中孟友好关系的重要作用。随后,中国驻孟加拉国大使馆文化处李少鹏参赞发表讲话,鼓励学生积极申请中国政府奖学金。他指出,中国始终致力于为国际学生提供优质的教育资源和开放包容的学习环境,赴华留学不仅有助于拓宽国际视野,也将为个人职业发展创造更多机遇。他欢迎更多孟加拉国优秀青年赴华深造,成为中孟文化交流与友好合作的桥梁。


会议重点围绕中国高等教育发展现状及中国政府奖学金展开介绍。达卡大学孔子学院中方院长杨惠介绍了中国高等教育体系的总体概况、发展成就及国际化特色,强调中国已建成世界规模最大的高等教育体系,并正通过“双一流”建设、教育数字化与国际化等举措,持续提升教育质量与国际影响力,为包括孟加拉国学生在内的国际学生提供日益丰富的学习机会与优质资源。“一带一路”中文中心主任马帅系统解读了中国政府奖学金(CSC)的申请条件、专业覆盖、申请流程与资助内容,为有意赴华深造的学生提供了详细指导。

此外,达卡大学孔子学院本土中文教师妮鲁以及中孟青年影响力网络主席艾喆分享了他们在华学习与生活的亲身经历,从生活适应、学术研究、文化体验等多个角度带来生动真实的见闻,并为现场学生提供了具体实用的建议。

达卡大学中央学生会主席萨迪克·卡耶姆在总结致辞中,对各主办方为此次活动付出的努力表示感谢,并特别指出未来将进一步加强学生会与达卡大学孔子学院的合作,共同推动两国青年交流与教育合作。他鼓励学生们积极把握机遇,通过赴华留学提升自我,为孟加拉国未来的发展贡献力量。

在问答环节,学生们围绕专业选择、校园生活和签证手续等关心的问题踊跃提问,嘉宾们给予了耐心细致的解答。

To enhance Bangladeshi students' understanding of China's higher education system and broaden study channels to China, a seminar on Higher Education in China and Chinese Government Scholarship was successfully held at the University of Dhaka in the afternoon of December 29, 2025. The event was jointly organized by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bangladesh, Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka, and the Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU). Mr. Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bangladesh, Dr. Yang Hui, Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka, Mr. Sadik Kayem, DUCSU Vice President, along with nearly 300 students from the University of Dhaka attended the event.
DUCSU International Affairs Secretary Jasimuddin Khan delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the important role of educational exchanges in deepening the friendly relations between China and Bangladesh. Mr. Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bangladesh, delivered a speech encouraging students to actively apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship. He pointed out that China is consistently committed to providing international students with high-quality educational resources and an open, inclusive learning environment. Studying in China not only helps broaden international horizons but also creates more opportunities for personal career development. He welcomed more outstanding Bangladeshi youth to pursue advanced studies in China, becoming bridges for cultural exchange and friendly cooperation between China and Bangladesh.
The meeting focused on introducing the current development of China's higher education and the Chinese Government Scholarship. Dr. Yang Hui, Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka, presented an overview of China's higher education system, its development achievements, and international characteristics. She emphasized that China has built the world's largest higher education system and is continuously enhancing educational quality andinternational influence through initiatives such as the "Double First-Class" initative, educational digitization, and internationalization. This provides increasingly rich learning opportunities and quality resources for international students, including those from Bangladesh. Dr. Maruf Mollah, Director of the Belt & Road Chinese Center, systematically explained the application conditions, subject coverage, application process, and funding details of the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), offering detailed guidance for students interested in studying in China.
Furthermore, Ms. Nilu Akter, a local Chinese language teacher from Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka and Mr. Akib Irfan, President of the Sino-Bangla Impact Network, shared their personal experiences of studying and living in China. They provided vivid and authentic insights from perspectives such as life adaptation, academic research, and cultural immersion, offering specific and practical advice to the students present.
In his concluding remarks, Mr.Sadiq Kayem, Vice President of the DUCSU, expressed gratitude to all organizing parties for their efforts in making this event possible. He specifically emphasized the future strengthening of cooperation between the DUCSC and the Confucius Institute at Dhaka University to jointly promote youth exchanges and educational collaboration between the two countries. He encouraged students to seize the opportunities available, enhance themselves through studying in China, and contribute to the future development of Bangladesh.
During the Q&A session, students actively asked questions regarding their concerns about major selection, campus life, visa procedures, etc., and the guests provided patient and detailed answers.
This seminar not only provided comprehensive and authoritative information on studying in China for Bangladeshi students but also further promoted exchanges and cooperation in education and humanities between China and Bangladesh, injecting new momentum into friendship between the youth and talent cultivation for the future.
