Mr. Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of China in Bangladesh called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan today July 03, 2025 at the VC’s Meeting Room of the university.

Dr. Yang Hui, Director of DU Confucius Institute and official of Chinese Embassy in Dhaka were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interests specially the possibilities of strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic and research programs among Dhaka University and different universities in China.  The possibilities of undertaking more joint collaborative academic and research programs among DU and Chinese universities were also discussed in the meeting. Cultural Counselor of Chinese Embassy thanked the Vice-Chancellor of DU for providing all-out support and cooperation in arranging various events on Chinese language and culture at DU.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan also thanked the guests for their visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic and research activities.
