A reception in honour of a distinguished visiting delegation from China,
led by President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies Prof.
Chen Dongxiao and Vice-President of Contemporary China & World
Studies Mr. Fan Daqi was held on 22 December, 2025 at Dhaka Club.
Pro- Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Dr. Mamun Ahmed organized this
event to mark the University of Dhaka’s continuing academic engagement
and constructive dialogue with leading Chinese institutions. Pro-Vice
Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha, Deans of
different faculties and some professors of DU were, among others, present
on this occasion.
