Waheed Chowdhury is a Lecturer at the Institute of Health Economics, University of Dhaka. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from York University, Canada. Previously, he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Health Economics from the University of Dhaka. His research focuses on health economics and public policy. He has worked at icddr,b and Bangladesh Bank, and has collaborated with organizations including USAID, WHO, World Bank, and UNICEF. His core strengths include statistical analysis, health economics research, and evidence-based policy evaluation. He is committed to using data-driven research to improve healthcare access, efficiency, and equity in Bangladesh and beyond.
