Visit of IAEA and BAEC Representatives to the Department of Nuclear Engineering, University of Dhaka
On 27 April, the Department of Nuclear Engineering, University of Dhaka, had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Wei Huang, Director (NEPIK), Division of Planning, Information and Knowledge Management, Department of Nuclear Energy, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and Dr. Md. Asad Shariff, Director, International Affairs Division and National Liaison Officer to the IAEA, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC). The visit provided a valuable opportunity for fruitful discussions on academic collaboration, capacity building, knowledge management, and future cooperation in nuclear education and research. The distinguished guests exchanged insightful ideas and perspectives on strengthening the Department’s academic and research activities through potential technical and educational support from the IAEA, fostering prospects for enhanced collaboration in the years ahead.
