A meeting between the University of Dhaka (DU) and the Qilu University of Technology, China was held today June 29, 2026 at VC’s meeting room of the university to strengthen research collaboration. Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of DU Prof. Dr. Abdus Salam presided over the meeting while Treasurer Prof. Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Dean of Faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Md. Mufazzal Hossain, Prof. Dr. Md. Ahsan Habib and Associate Prof. Dr. A. K. M. Nur Alam Siddiki from Dhaka University and Prof. Wang Xiao, Prof. Wei Liu and some other team members from Qilu University of Technology were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed about strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic and research programs between Dhaka University and Qilu University of Technology, China. It may be mentioned that a MoU between the two universities has already been signed to promote academic and research activities. Under this MoU, the two universities will exchange teachers, researchers and students as well as work together to enhance scientific research.
