The Department of Linguistics, University of Dhaka, successfully organised an engaging online seminar featuring Dr. Albert Badosa Roldós, a distinguished linguist from Catalonia and an internationally recognized scholar in language documentation and descriptive linguistics. During the seminar, Dr. Badosa Roldós shared his extensive fieldwork experiences on endangered languages, with special reference to the Malieng language of Vietnam. His insightful discussion highlighted the significance of language documentation, linguistic diversity, and the preservation of endangered languages as an essential part of humanity's cultural heritage.

The session was highly interactive, with enthusiastic participation from faculty members, researchers, and students, followed by a lively question-and-answer session.
