ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিভাগের বার্ষিক বনভোজন আয়োজিত হয় গত ১৬ মে, ২০২৬ খ্রি. তারিখে। বিভাগের বিভিন্ন বর্ষের শিক্ষার্থীরা ভাওয়াল জাতীয় উদ্যানে বনভোজনের উদ্দেশ্যে সকাল আটটায় রওনা করে এবং দুপুরের পরে শালবন ইকো রিসোর্টে লাঞ্চ গ্রহণ করে। তাদের সাথে ছিল বিভাগের ২জন শিক্ষক এবং ২জন অফিস স্টাফ। দিনটি ভ্রমণ, আড্ডা ও খেলাধুলার মধ্য দিয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য অত্যন্ত আনন্দময় হয়ে ওঠে।
The annual picnic of the Department of Linguistics at University of Dhaka was held on May 16, 2026. A group of 54 students from different academic years of the department set off at 8:00 AM for the Bhawal National Park for the picnic and had lunch at the Shalbon Eco Resort after midday. They were accompanied by 2 teachers and 2 office staff from the department. The day turned out to be immensely joyful for the students, filled with traveling, chatting, and sports.
