Pro-Vice Chancellor of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) Prof. Daniel W. Lund paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan today January 01, 2026 at the latter’s office of the university.

During the meeting they exchanged views regarding various issues including the possibilities of strengthening academic collaboration among public and private universities to produce skilled human resources in Bangladesh. DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan stressed the need for undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs between Dhaka University and Independent University and working together for betterment of the society. We have to create knowledge and disseminate it among students to enhance the quality of higher education in the country, he added.
